Rolling Registration

ATTENDANCE POLICY -  Summer 2009

CHILDREN & TEENS:

  • If your child will not be attending class due to illness, vacation, or other reason, you must notify us at the dance center at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. A call will allow the student to take a make- up class.
  • If we do not receive notification of the absence, the student will not be allowed to make up the missed class.
  • Make-up classes must be taken during the Summer 2009 Session and must be scheduled in advance through the MSC Dance Center office. Make-up classes not completed during the Summer 2009 Session shall be forfeited.
  • For Summer 2009, Students are allowed a maximum of 2 make-up classes for each class in which they are enrolled.
ADULTS:
  • Adult class cards (Choose 10, 20, 30) are valid for 10 weeks. Student must sign in and have their card punched before taking a class. Unused punches shall be forfeited at the end of the 10 week period. We will not refund unused classes.
  • Class Card is valid for 10 consecutive weeks from date of purchase.
  • Class Card can be used for any adult class (except Latin/Ballroom) at any time prior to expiration. Just sign in at the office and have your card punched when you attend class.
  • Class Card is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON–TRANSFERABLE.
ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS:
  • Students who arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled class start time will not be allowed to take class that day.
  • Make-up classes for students missing class due to late arrival will be allowed only at the discretion of the Dance Center staff.
  • The studio does not provide bottled water or food. Eating is not allowed in the dance studios.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
  • In case of snow or inclement weather, classes may be cancelled for the day. The school will notify you of rescheduling for classes cancelled.
HOLIDAYS:
  • School Closing : Independence Day weekend
REQUIRED ATTIRE

  • Creative Ballet, Pre-Ballet:
    Pink leotard (short sleeves), tights, ballet slippers, hair neatly up.
  • Ballet I, II, & III:
    Black leotard (short sleeves), pink tights, ballet shoes, hair neatly up.

  • Adult Ballet:
    Dark colored leotard, light colored tights, ballet shoes, hair neatly up.

  • Tap:
    Tap shoes required.

  • Jazz:
    Jazz shoes required.

  • Hip Hop:
    Loose clothing, sneakers only.

  • Contemporary:
    Leotard, footless tights or leggings, bare feet.

  • Yoga & Pilates:
    Floor mat, loose clothing.

Tuition & Payment Information for Summer Session 2009 (June 30, 2009 - August 31, 2009)
A one-time registration fee of $25 applies to all new students.
