The
Director

Myung Sook Chun Contemporary, Ballet, Yogilates (Yoga/Pilates), Korean Dance Ms. Chun is a New York based dancer and choreographer. She earned a Master of Fine Arts
(MFA) degree in dance from NYU’s School of the Arts, a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Ewha Women’s University
in Seoul, Korea and a Bachelor of Arts in dance from the Japan Women’s Physical College in Tokyo. Ms. Chun served as
an adjunct professor of dance at The City University of New York, York College. Her teaching experience also includes Ewha
Women’s University, Sang Myung Women’s University, Seoul Performing Arts College and Seo Ra Bul Performing Arts
College in Seoul. Ms. Chun’s Korean Dance credits include an invitation from Lincoln Center Performing Arts to perform
at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, American Museum of Natural History, for New York NBC television’s “History
of Immigration”, and at many other cultural events around the country. Ms. Chun established the Myung Sook Chun Modern
Dance Company, which performed at the National Theater in Seoul, from 1971 to 1973, before immigrating to the US in 1974.
In 1986, Ms. Chun established the Myung Sook Chun Contemporary Dance Company. Her company performed in New York, China (birth
place) and Korea and well received by Jack Anderson of the New York Times. Faculty 
**New** Danna Crooke Hip-Hop, Jazz
Danna is a professional dancer,
technically trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, Pointe, Salsa & Samba at J & L Dance Center in NJ, where
she danced for 15 years & graduated. She has competed in various competitions such as DEA in NY, access Broadway elements,
world of Dance and Culture Shock. Danna has also appeared on America’s Best Dance Crew season 2 “Live Auditions”
in LA. She has toured in multiple cities in China for 3 months with her dance crew “Rhythm City“, from Bronx,
NY. Her goal is to continue to dance & tour all around the world, while teaching others of all her life experiences through
the art of dance. 
Lauren Zaleta Ballet, Pointe Lauren, a dancer of Russian and Polish descent, has studied at the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC and
at the Rock School of Ballet in Philadelphia. At the Joffrey Ballet School, she gained experience teaching beginner and intermediate
ballet and 3-7 year old division students. She has performed roles of the Ballerina Doll in the Joffrey Ballet School’s
Nutcracker and the Spider Witch in Le Ballets del’Opera Chinois de New York’s world premiere of Journey to the
West. 
Maria Torres Latin/Ballroom, First Dance of Wedding
Maria Torres is an acclaimed Performer, Choreographer and Director
with extensive experience in the Theater, Film, Television and Video and Commercial industries. As a performer, she has graced
both the Broadway stage, starring in “Swing!” and the big screen in "Dance with Me". Maria worked on
projects in the music industry ranging from choreographing the video for Enrique Iglesias’ hit single “Bailamos”
to hailed Reggaeton artist Don Omar's most recent tour, King of Kings and The International Dance TV show, "Quiero Bailar”.
She also appeared on camera as a guest choreographer on the hit show, "So You Think You Can Dance". In the world
of film, Maria has worked with world-renowned production houses and directors such as MTV, NBC, HBO, BBC, Walt Disney, and
John Leguizamo. Her choreography can be seen in films such as “El Cantante” with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony
and the upcoming films, "Fugly" and "The Six Wives of Henry Le Fay". This year she is launching several
projects including her company, the Maria Torres Dance Theatre Company. As a teacher, she has taught all over the world with
the goal of sharing her Latin culture. 
Omar Edwards Tap Omar started dancing at the age of 13, when he saw his cousin Savion Glover perform in the movie, "Tap".
He soon began to learn from dancers such as Van Poter, Main Brooks, and Henry Le Tang, at the age of 16. He performed with
the group Toe Jamm with Daniel Wooten, Jr. They appeared 13 times on Ed McMahon's Star Search and won the grand prize. The
duo's success led them to numerous appearances on national television shows and an extensive tour throughout Europe and Japan.
In 1993, he performed throughout the two year international tour of the Broadway hit "Black and Blue" and then joined
the Broadway cast of "Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk". He has performed with major star, from Buster Brown
to Bunny Briggs and recently toured Europe with blues legend Lind Hopkins in completed his first role in the motion picture
"CAMP", and can be seen every Sunday night on NBC's "Showtime" at the Apollo Theater. He's also completed
two "Tap Dance" albums. His first album is "Tap Dance is Music". He continues to tour his dance concert
throughout the US and overseas and averages at least 150 tap shows a year.

Timothy Crespo Hip-Hop, Break Dance
Timothy was born in Bronx, NY. He was trained by Alonzo Williams of Rhytm City Inc., Timothy Gordon of TGGDC, Wyze
of LITM Dance Co., Madi Portez of Immanuel Dance Center, Dancette of I-Dance co and Maria Torres of the Broadway Dance Center.
Timothy was a dancer/choreographer at the Immanuel Dance Center and performed at the Timothy Gordon Dance company as a dancer,
stuntman and break dancer. Currently, he is a dancer, choreographer and music producer at the Lost In The Music Dance Company
in Guttenberg NJ.

Vitaly Verterich Ballet
Vitaly trained at the Kirov Ballet School and the Moscow Academy of Art. After graduating, he danced
solo roles in classical and contemporary works with the Russian Chamber Ballet Theatre, and often appeared as a guest with
the Bolshoi and Kirov. In 1998, Vitaly was a principal with Moscow Ballet when Michael Flatley invited him to join Riverdance.
Vitaly toured Europe, Australia, Canada and the U.S. with Riverdance, and performed in it on Broadway. Currently, Vitaly works
as a principal dancer at the New Jersey Ballet Company.
